Do not consider putting your loved one in this nursing home. They have no empathy for the residents or their families. I have been there when 20-30 patients were laying in rolling beds crying and begging to be put back in their rooms and they were ignored. They do have some good aides on staff who try to do a good job, but the place is grossly under staffed. The nurses that I met with are hateful and treat the residents like they are a bother, rather than a human being they are being paid to care for. If the patient is aware of what is going on, they retaliate when they are confronted with this poor treatment. I was there when a patient had the nurse alert on for almost an hour before a nurse responded, then all the did was say "I will get to you as soon as possible". The odors of urine and feces permeate the entire building.
Our relative had many items stolen from them by the staff. They did replace the TV but no investigation was done to find out who the thief was. It's shameful how they continue to operate.
