Great facility with artificial turf fields (played an entire game in a downpour) . It also has a huge playground that's a 2 minute walk away and also a smaller playground tucked in between the fields. Great way to keep the little ones busy while their siblings are playing baseball.
This is a wonderful park for kids and adults of all ages. There is a little bit of everything at this park. Soccer fields, walking trails, kid playground, picnic tables, dog park, baseball field. In the Summertime this is a GO-To place with it's own splash pad! Kudos to the City of Springdale for giving the community and family friendly spot to have fun!
Great place. The kids love it and it's very safe for the children. Really busy place in the summer but so much fun. Also a great place to have birthday parties at one of the many pavilions including bathrooms.
Great park! I love that the splash pad and the traditional park area were right next to each other. Also, the covered sitting areas were perfect! I was able to keep my baby cool in the shade while my older child played for 3 hours. Definitely will be visiting again!
Very nice park, but two things need improvement for the dog park. Young kids of any age are allowed in the off leash dog park, which is almost unheard of across the nation. Not all dogs, even the most well trained, are comfortable with small children. It irresponsible for the parents to bring toddler to the large dog park, and ultimately unsafe, not even from bites but getting ran over by dogs playing. Second, the maintenance gate needs to be locked when they are not servicing the park. Three times I have let my dog into the park for him to just bolt out the other side. He could have possibly been hit by a car. There is a lock sitting on the fence not applied to the gate, so I assume it's laziness of the crew vs park policy.
