My sister verified an appointment. Got there and because she a additional insurance, they turned her away. She took off from work, drove an hour to get there and they refused to see her. Took us months to persuade her to even see a wholistic doctor. POOR customer service. She had the insurance company on the phone to assure payment and the staff refused to speak with them. I WOULD RECOMMEND STEERING CLEAR!!!! No doctor would treat patients this way. She walks away in tears.
We are sorry about the bad experience a lady ( No names due to HIPAA privacy laws ) had at the clinic. We are also sorry about the loss of time at work. Unfortunately however, we do not take MEDICARE OR MEDICAID as insurance. This is clearly posted in our website and in the clinic. She did call, make an appointment, but failed to mention the crucial detail of her insurance. It is the patient's responsibility to verify what insurances are accepted in the clinic he or she is trying to be seen at. We also offered she could be seen that same day, but she would be responsible for the price of such consult. She was in no way turned away from our clinic. At this point the patient walked away.
