The sales invoice that you sign when you buy something from Cleo's clearly states that only the information written in the invoice applies. As there was no verbiage about any warranty, by signing their invoice you are agreeing that there is no warranty.
Bought a sectional from cleos. And it broke. Took it in to get it fixed because we bought warranty and everything on the sectional in case this ever happened. They came back and said the we had abused our couch that we had owned for 4 months. And refused to fix it or anything. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a furniture store. They refused to do anything. And we are not rough on our furniture at all. DO NOT EVER GO TO CLEOS.
Awful. Had the wrong piece delivered in a set and didn't realize until after delivery left. Spouse and I tried for MONTHS to get right piece delivered and wrong one picked up. Got the run around by phone and stopping in, in person. Tried at least 6 times! We still have the wrong piece!!! I can't remember the last time I had customer service this poor. I'd complain higher up, but I don't trust people who treat customers' legit problems with their delivery like this--keep saying they'll get back to us but never do. It's creepy, and so we'll just eat the loss. They'll never get us as customers again, that's for sure. Buyer beware.
Any business that won't back its verbal assurances in writing is likely unethical. Beware.
Went to the Cleo's store in Springdale today. We asked about their warranty and the salesman said Cleo's warranted everything for one year. When I asked for a written copy of their warranty he said they didn't have one. I asked, "You don't have any written document that explains Cleo's warranty?" He said, "No. Nobody has ever asked for one." After I explained that a verbal warranty was meaningless he acted as if he was shocked I just wasn't going to take his word for it.
Bought a sofa-chaise and like it very much. Called back to order two of the chairs that go with it. One they had on hand, one they had to order from factory.. the one they had wasn't in the best shape when we got it home... not pleased about that, but thought we might be stuck.. the other chair came in and I asked to unwrap it before we took it home. It looks great. I mentioned that the first chair was a little iffy and Mitchell at the Springdale store immediately said "We need to swap it for another one, bring it back! We want you to be happy!" Very pleased with the service at the Springdale location. Thanks Mitchell!
Bought 2 recliners at springdale store and they are pealing .i went in to ask what could be done .well as always .NOTHING cant back there word up they want to push it off on the ones who make it .pay 1,250 for crapy chairs now and they are only a year .and to call and ask ? They are very rude .when they say there will email you well they dont do that either .they are very bad on backing up whats on paper .also Guardsman that we paid $137.00 for dont back up there either.when i called them they were RUDE as well
