My son and I had lunch - or actually breakfast for lunch. I live cracker barrel. The food is always good and the wait staff is friendly. Plus it's always fun to look around the store.
Had the hamburger steak and Hubby had catfish. A lonely piece of chocolate pecan pie came home with me. Everything was delicious as always! Joe, the Manager, as well as the staff were attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely be revisiting when we come this way.
We had about a 20min wait for six people, so not too long. The food was good. Unfortunately, our server was not very good. Messed up orders that were very clearly spoken, delays on refills, took a side plate that I wasn't done with and with my mouth full so I couldn't say to stop before it was too late. The front staff was very nice, they opened a package so I could verify the contents before purchase so that was nice.
Well interesting enough I usually have a very pleasant time at Cracker Barrel. However we went there on Christmas Eve of 2017 this year and we were less than pleased. After ordering two of our dinner party did not get to have what they ordered because they were out but that's understandable sort of... Our sides we're dry they had a skin on top of them where they have been sitting out. Horrible experience I'll never go there again on a holiday they make it out like it's some great get together for family's... but, no that wasn't the case.
Good food, warm and cozy atmosphere (like home) especially when they have a fire burning. Good service. This is one of my family's favorite dinner spots.
